APIs make DDI invisible
Diamond IP DDI products offer robust REST APIs to facilitate integration with multi-cloud and cross-IT automation systems. The IPControl system supports APIs for DDI functions including automated block, subnet, IP address, DHCP pool, and DNS domain and resource record allocations. Sapphire hardware and virtual appliances also support a native REST API to enable scalable and automated configuration and management of each appliance.
Easier service creation
Our Sapphire Cloud Automation Appliance (CAA) provides a NodeRed graphical web interface to enable modification of canned workflows or creation of your own. Each IPControl API call is provided as a drag-and-drop module that you can easily drag into the CAA’s workflow user interface. This gives you the freedom to design workflows in accordance with your business. The CAA also scales API processing in shepherding API calls between automation systems, cloud systems, other external systems and IPControl’s IPAM repository.
Manage cloud DNS configurations
The Sapphire CAA also supports interfaces to public cloud DNS systems such as Akamai. This enables you to manage all of your DNS holistically through a single pane of glass. Use IPControl to manage your DNS zones and resource records across your entire DNS estate, from in-house Microsoft, ISC BIND, and Diamond IP Docker or Sapphire DNS appliances, to external DNS systems. You can employ uniform operational practices while controlling administrator accountability.
